War and Life:

Discussions with Veterans
This site's purpose is to provide a place for United States military veterans to share their experiences with others. The project is collecting memories from any veteran who served in any capacity in any conflict zone. It also collects the perspectives of those who have had loved ones in conflict zones. Discussions may be recorded remotely using Zoom or in person at John Brown University or elsewhere in Northwest Arkansas. If you are willing to share about your military service, email Preston Jones at [email protected] or call at (479) 524-7488. If you have any questions about this website, contact Kim Johnson at [email protected].
We value your visit to our website dedicated to preserving the oral histories of veterans. To better serve you and enhance our content, we invite you to participate in a brief survey. Your feedback will help us understand your needs, whether you're a researcher, a family member, or someone with a personal interest in these stories. Take the Survey Now and contribute to the ongoing effort to honor and share the experiences of our veterans. Thank you for your support!
